Richmond, Yorkshire to Stow, Scotland

sunny 19 °C

We’re in Scotland! We spent much of the day bidding farewell to family - throwing Max on a train and replacing his seat with a Jono.

The three of us crammed into the three-seater van and headed north, passing the setting of our favourite show (Vera), Hadrian’s wall, various castle and abbey ruins, and the Scottish Border.

We are staying with an old family friend of the Andersons, Malcolm. Various family members were relaxing out in the incredible garden, so we joined them. Adriana made us an amazing dinner, before we had to watch 100 painful minutes of a 0-0 game between Scotland and Hungary, where Hungary finally scored in the literal last minute.

This is Marco. Malcolm tells us, very objectively, that he is perfect. We tend to agree.
